About Us

   We began in 2014 after Bill Guerrant noticed an elderly couple struggling to walk nearly a mile through the heat from their parking lot to the stadium and venues. Guerrant acquired some golf carts in the spring of 2014 and they were up and running by June 2014.

     We are a Not For Profit Organization operating on a variety of sponsorship. EZ Event Ride won’t charge for rides but will accept tips for our volunteer drivers. Companies such as GatorZone at the University of Florida, Seminole Boosters, Future Home Loans, ASM, PRI Productions, Florida Dairy Farmers and Everbank Field sponsor carts.

Jacksonville’s Biggest Cocktail Tailgating Party is huge for our sponsors as they are center stage during this event. Being one of the largest events in the city EZ Event Ride will transport more than 40,000 people and utilize 40 carts, plus trolleys.

     Our 40+ carts, k-trolleys and trams can take people from parking locations all around the entertainment district of Jacksonville, such as Everbank Stadium, Hyatt Regency, Jacksonville Waterfront, VyStar Memorial Arena, St. Johns River Taxi, Marriott Jacksonville Downtown, Manifest Distillery, Tailgaters and more. We’re proud to work with The City of Jacksonville, ASM and JSO to ensure safe passage as we transport all people, catering to those with physical limitations.
